6.2 magnitude earthquake hits Indonesian’s Lombok Island

SANAA, Aug, 9 (YAP) – A  second powerful earthquake  6.2 magnitude on the Richter scale hit the  Indonesian Lombok Island on Thursday, the Indonesian Meteorological reported.

The earthquake came, after powerful 6.9 magnitude earthquake struck the island in the recent weeks killing at least 131 people.

The quack pushed people to go outside their homes and caused huge destruction to the already collapsing buildings.

The tremor occurred at 05.25 a.m. GMT [08.25 Moscow time] at a depth of 10 km on the island.
