Photo: Armed man to protect Imam mosque in Yemen’s Aden  

ADEN, July 24 (YPA) – Activists on social media on Monday circulated a picture for an armed man standing to protect the Imam of the mosque from the assassination during prayers for the first time in the history of Aden City.

The move came after the long-term crimes carried out the assassination cells belonging to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) occupation forces that targeted the imams and preachers of mosques in the city of Aden, during the last period.

Aden city and other southern provinces, under the control of the UAE occupation forces, have been witnessing a case of chaos insecurity amid the spread of armed groups of al-Qaeda and Daesh and increasing violations against civil and military figures.
