6 killed in infighting between coalition-backed tribes in Jawf

JAWF, Feb. 13 (YPA) – About 6 tribal gunmen loyal to the Saudi-led coalition in the desert areas in Khab Washaf district of Jawf province, were killed and 2 others injured in infighting in the province.

According to sources, tribal clashes erupted in al-Yatma desert of Khab Washaf district of the province between Jaid tribes led by the military commander in the coalition, Hadi Hamran Al-Jaidi and Dhu Hussein tribes led by Khaled Kharsan, the commander of the Seventh Border Brigade loyal to the coalition.

The clashes erupted between the two tribes, as a result of the refusal of Jaid family to create a military site for the 7th Brigade in their areas.
