Director of US Vice President’s office infected with Corona

SANAA, Oct. 25 (YPA) – Daveen O’Malley, a spokesman for Mike Pence, Vice President of the United States, said on Sunday that tests have shown that Mark Short, Pence’s office manager, has been infected with the emerging coronavirus.
Reuters quoted O’Malley as saying: “The tests that were taken for Vice President Pence and Mrs. Pence came negative for Covid-19 and they are in good health.”
Three informed sources had reported that Marty Obst, one of the closest political advisers to US Vice President Mike Pence, had been infected with the new Corona virus (Covid-19).
The sources explained that although he is not a government employee, he is often in contact with Pence and his staff, and he also visits the White House, noting that the last time Obst met with Pence was about a week ago, but he did not approach him very closely.
