UAE drone aircraft bomb Hadi forces in Abyan

ABYAN, Sept. 27 (YPA) – Media sources confirmed that Hadi’s forces in the Shuqrah front in the occupied province of Abyan on Saturday evening were bombed by the Saudi-led coalition aircraft.

Anis Mansour, a pro-Muslim Brotherhood journalist, said one person was killed and three injured in the UAE’s airstrike, which targeted Hadi’s forces in the Sheikh Salem area of Shuqrh city.

Mansoor noted in a tweet that the crime against the forces of so-called “legitimacy” will meet with silent by Hadi and the leaders of his government and will not issue a statement as it does against its officials who criticize its policies, referring to the criticism sought by Hadi’s advisor, Abdulaziz Jabbari, in which he attacked the coalition.

The air strikes on Hadi’s forces are the third this month, when UAE warplanes bombed the positions of the so-called presidential protection brigades in Sheikh Salem, resulting in five injuries, and the Hadi government kept silent over such crime. Its silence caused widespread of discontent and anger among many Hadi politicians and military officials.

Hadi’s forces in Abyan in early September also came under fire from the UAE occupation air force, killing and injuring more than 11 soldiers.

Military sources revealed that UAE forces were introducing drones into their military operations against Hadi’s forces and al-Islah militias in Abyan province.

The UAE recently acquired Israeli drones, which it had contracted to purchase two years ago, as part of an agreement to normalize relations with Israel.

According to observers, the bombing of Hadi’s forces in Abyan hours after the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council issued a statement accusing the Hadi government of obstructing the formation of the new government and thwarting the implementation of the Riyadh agreement.

They indicated that the consultations on a new turn, confirms that the agreement between the parties on the formation of the new government has become likely will not happen .
