American F-16 fighter jet crashes while landing in New Mexico

SANAA, July 14 (YPA) – The US Air Force announced that an F-16 Viper fighter crashed during its landing on Monday evening at Holman Air Force Base in New Mexico.
The Air Force said in a statement on its Facebook page that the fighter, belonging to Squadron 49, had crashed while trying to land, noting that the pilot managed to skydive and was lightly wounded.

This accident is the fifth of its kind in recent months.
