Iran records 147 deaths, 2457 new cases of coronavirus

SANAA, June 30 (YPA) – Iranian Ministry of Health on Tuesday announced that 147 people have died and 2457 have been infected with the Corona virus in the past 24 hours.

According to the latest figures and statistics of the Ministry of Health, the death toll has increased since the start of the outbreak of the virus to 1081 and  the number of people infected with the virus is 227,662 people so far.

The ministry said that 3049 people infected with the Corona virus in a critical condition are in intensive care rooms.

The ministry explained that the provinces of Khuzestan, Kurdistan, West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan, Hormuzgan, Bushehr, Khorasan, and Kermanshah are still classified as red regions, noting the high rates of infection in the provinces of Sistan and Baluchistan, Ilam, andistan and Golestan.
