Pro-coalition military leaders killed in Bayda
BAYDA, May 1 (YPA) – The Yemeni army forces and the popular committees on Thursday managed to prevent a major advance by Saudi-led coalition forces towards al-Yasbel and al-Hama areas on Qaniya front in Bayda province, sources told Yemen Press Agency.
The sources confirmed that the coalition forces’ attempts to advance in the two strategic areas failed and they suffered heavy losses in lives and gear.
Many military leaders of the coaltion forces were killed, most notably Ziyad Alawi al-Rassas, commander of the coalition forces attack towards al-Yasbel, and Mohammad Raid al-Thabti, Saleh Mohammed Abdulnabi, Fahd Muqbel al-Jufi, Ali Fahd al-Jufi al-Qaifi, Saleh Mohammed al-Taheri Dukim and Nasser Dhaifallah al-Wahbi, the sources added.
