Army repels 2 attacks of Saudi-backed mercenaries in Jizan

JIZAN, April 30 (YPA) – The Yemeni army repelled on Wednesday two wide-scale attacks of Saudi-backed mercenaries in Jizan border province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The mercenaries carried out the infiltration attempts on Qamboura site.

The army was able to foil the attacks that lasted for 10 hours, killing and wounding 20 mercenaries including commanders and inflicting them heavy losses in equipmen, the official confirmed.
