TAIZ, March 13 (YPA) – Dozens of citizens organized, on Wednesday, a protest denouncing the lack of domestic gas supplies and the coalition-backed government’s apparent disregard for their plight.
Protesters gathered in the Qamt stream, holding banners and chanting slogans expressing their anger, demanding that their share of domestic gas be provided and that fair distribution be ensured.
They accused local authorities and the government-owned gas company of colluding with influential individuals and being behind the domestic gas monopoly.
They pointed out that influential figures are deliberately obstructing the transfer of Taiz’s share of domestic gas from stations located in Taiz.
