Hadramout Tribal Alliance reinforces its positions at entrances to coastal districts
HADRAMOUT, Mar. 13 (YPA) – The Hadramout Tribal Alliance has reinforced its positions at the entrances to the coastal districts with a large number of armed men equipped with light and medium weapons.
These movements come as part of the alliance’s tightened measures to prevent any anticipated military movements by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) toward the city of Mukalla, the province’s capital, or other coastal areas.
According to local sources, these armed men arrived in several vehicles, demonstrating the alliance’s readiness to strengthen its control over and secure vital sites.
The head of the tribal alliance, Amr bin Habrish al-Ali, had previously called on the alliance’s fighters to raise their level of preparedness and security vigilance to deal with any potential threats.
