High-ranking official killed, UAE-backed media accuses Islah party

SANAA, March 1 (YPA) – The murder of the chief financial officer of the so-called Department of Personnel and Public Reserve affairs in Hadi government, Colonel Omar Salem Omar Abdullah al-Dhamji, is shrouded in mystery.

While UAE media revealed what they called the details of the crime, accusing Islah militias of liquidating Colonel Al-Dhamji by mining his own car and blowing it up while leaving Shabwah province towards the occupied province of Aden.

Pro-Brotherhood media reported that Al-Dhamji was killed in a horrific traffic accident without giving reasons.

Media belonging to the UAE reinforced the evidence of the assassination of Al-Dhamji at the time of the crime on the eve of the adoption of the security belt forces on the lists of the Ministry of Defense, which did not succeed as a result of the assassination of the official.

According to the media, the Muslim Brotherhood’s militias had clearly carried out an assassination by disabling the brakes of his car, filling tires with gas or putting on an explosive sticker.

The colonel al-Damji’s car overturned on his way from Shabwah province to Aden, after the front tire exploded and overturned in a horrific traffic accident that led to his death.

A commission of inquiry was set up on Saturday evening to find out the details of the crime and the causes of the car’s tire explosion, according to  the ” Free Post”.

The website quoted informed sources as saying that such acts confirm that the Muslim Brotherhood’s militias are not seeking any appeasement or compliance with the Riyadh Agreement, but rather make the situation worse through these terrorist crimes.
