Chief of Military Intelligence discusses with military commanders situation on the West Coast

SANAA, Feb. 20 (YPA) – Chief of Military Intelligence Service Major General Abdullah Yahya al-Hakim discussed on Thursday in Sanaa with military leaders the tragic humanitarian situation in Durayhimi District of Hodeidah in light of the ongoing escalation of aggression and the continuing violations of the Swedish agreement by the coalition forces.

The meeting touched on the difficult nature of humanitarian situation in light of the war and the unjust blockade, which require urgent intervention by humanitarian and international organizations to end this suffering imposed by the coalition aggression forces.

In the meeting, al-Hakim confirmed the commitment of the army forces and popular committees to the ceasefire agreement, although the other party did not abide by the agreement and escalate daily from its violations and aggressive operations with various weapons against civilians in Hodeidah.

He praised the responsible national role of the people of Hodeidah province and their standing alongside their brothers in the army and popular committees to enhance security and stability in the province.
