Oil ignites sharp differences between “Hadi’s PM and businessman al-Eisei”

ADEN, Jan. 8 (YPA) – The head of the Saudi-led coalition backed government dealt a heavy blow to businessman Ahmed Saleh al-Eisei and his partner Jalal Hadi, which would deepen the rift between Saudi allies and the UAE in the occupied territories, on the one hand, and make room for one of Moeen Abdul Malik’s subsidiaries in the import of oil derivatives on the other.

The tension between Moeen Abdul Malik, deputy director of Hadi’s office and his economic advisor Ahmed al-Eisei, following the first order  of the so-called “Economic Committee” in Aden to stop the accreditation of al-Jazeera Oil Contracting and Services, which is owned by  al-Eisei, and his main partner, Jalal Hadi, who controls the oil derivatives trade in Yemen.

However, the technical office of the “Economic Committee” attributed the suspension of the accreditation and rehabilitation of al-Jazeera company, because it evaded the payment of the full fees, and provided incomplete data for the shipments it imports.

The real battle between the head of Hadi’s government and al-Eisei emerged last year, after the decision to limit the import of oil derivatives to Aden refineries, which led to the public disfigures of interest scares between the corrupts of Hadi government.

In an interview on al-Arabiya TV, Hadi’s prime minister announced that forces that have spun into major corruption interests, citing two main themes of “electricity and fuel purchases”, which cost up to $40 million a month.

Observers said that Abdul Malik’s talk about corruption in the fuel and electricity sectors is a direct accusation against al-Eisei and his partner Jalal Hadi, after they prevented an oil company owned by Abdul Malik in a partnership with a relative to import oil.

Hadi’s escalation against al-Eisei and Jalal Hadi is a reflection of the Saudi-Emirati conflict within his government, which noted that the return of Moeen Abdul Malik to Aden was only after he swore allegiance to the UAE.

Abdul Malik’s corruption files are explained by the fact that he has opened corruption files to figures close to Hadi, such as al-Eisei and Jalal Hadi, despite his involvement in corruption files at least the rest, the last of which was the establishment of a fuel purchase deal for a company owned by a relative, at the end of the  last year.
