Hadi’s interior minister leaves Mahrah province for Oman

MAHRAH, Nov. 23 (YPA) – Informed sources reported that the so-called Hadi’s  interior minister, Ahmed al-Misari has left Mahrah province and headed to the Sultanate of Oman, after establishing a large popular base against the Riyadh agreement, the Saudi-Emirati intervention in Aden and other southern provinces .

According to the sources, al-Maisari left the city of Ghidha on Friday to join sheikh Ahmed al-Harizi and the revolutionary movement led by militant Hassan Ba’oum in Oman.

The sources suggested that al-Miasari joined these components to stand against the coalition and the so-called “legitimacy”.

The UAE’s Southern Transitional Council (STC) and The Governor of Mahrah, Rajeh Bakrit, organized a demonstration last Monday in Al-Rageh demanding the departure of Hadi’s interior minster from Al-Mahra province for fear of his movements, which the demonstrators described as suspicious.

The move of the Transitional Council and the pro-Saudi Governor of Mahrah against al-Maisari means that al-Maisari succeeded in establishing the grassroots of  anti-Saudi and the Riyadh agreement, where his popularity will join the Sheikh Al-Harizi, who is opposing to the Saudi presence in the southern provinces.
