Exiled Hadis’ troops move towards Shabwah

SHABWAH, Sept. 10 (YPA) – Saudi-backed exiled Hadi’s forces in cooperation with Islah party militants pushed on Tuesday military reinforcements to Yemen’s southern province of Shabwah, sources said.

The reinforcements, including a number of military tankers carrying tanks, armored vehicles, and Katyusha rockets, moved from Marib heading to Ataq city, the capital of Shabwa.

The move came after “Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates” had issued a joint statement, which does not oblige the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militias to withdraw from military sites and camps in Aden and Abyan.

The sources added “Hadi” threatened Saudi Arabia to “resign” and reject the Jeddah dialogue following the gentle statement against the STC.
