UAE-backed militias besiege resigned Hadi’s forces in Abyan

ABYAN, Aug. 20 (YPA) – So-called the Southern Transitional Council’s militias backed by United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday besieged Saudi-backed resigned Hadi’s camps in Abyan province in an attempt to take over, according to military sources.

The source said a commander of the Hadi’s forces al-Aoban refused to surrender the camps by a mediation committee, which led to impose a siege by militias on the camps in Zinjibar district.
