6.1-magnitude earthquake hits Japan’s Okinawa Islands

SANAA, July 13 (YPA) – The US Geological Survey announced on Saturday that a 6.1-magnitude earthquake struck northern Japan’s Okinawa Islands.

According to “Reuters, the Geological Survey,said the quake occurred 346 km north of Naha, the provincial capital, at a depth of 257 km.

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties.
