5 pro-coalition soldiers killed in clashes in Marib

MARIB, June 24 (YPA) – At least five soldiers were killed and others injured in clashes inside headquarters of the Third Military Region loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Marib province, eastern Yemen, media sources reported on Monday.

The clashes erupted after differences between salaries paying committees and soldiers from the region, the sources explained.

Defense minister in Hadi’s government has recently admitted at a meeting in Marib that 70 percent of names of soldiers loyal to Hadi and General Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar are fictitious and nonexistent virtually.

Media reports revealed that more than 120 thousand fictitious names in the lists of coalition militants, which Islah Party is benefiting from.
