5 Zilzal-1 missiles hit coalition forces in Asir

ASIR, March 31 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Sunday fired five missiles of Zilzal-1 type on gatherings of Saudi-led coalition forces at Alib crossing in Asir region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The missile attack resulted in dozens of dead and wounded in ranks of the coalition forces, the official added.

On Saturday, a Zilzal-1 missile hit a group of the coalition troops at the same site, killing and injuring many of them, while the Yemeni army forces seized several Saudi military positions after carrying out an offensive in the same region.

A military source announced that some 215 soldiers of the coalition were killed and injured, including leaders, during various military operations carried out by the Yemeni army forces near Alib over the past two days.
