Magnitude 5.0 Quake Strikes off Russian Kamchatka Coast

SANAA, March 19 (YPA) – A Powerful earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale hit on Tuesday off the coast of Russia’s Kamchatka Peninsula, the local office of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported.

“The seismic incident occurred on Tuesday. The epicenter was about 40 kilometers deep and 196 kilometers north-east of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, “service representative said.
