President praises role of sheikhs in confronting aggression

SANAA, March 11 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Sunday met with Shura Council member Sheikh Fadl Mahmoud Mana, one of the sheikhs of the Beni Hashish district of Sana’a governorate.

During the meeting, al-Mashat and Mana discussed the role of sheikhs in mobilizing to support the fronts with men and money and to confront the aggression and thwart its plans.

The meeting touched on aspects related to the role of sheikhs in promoting alignment and cohesion, solving citizens’ issues and confronting all those who try to provoke strife and conflicts among the members of society to serve the agendas of aggression.

 Al-Mashat stressed the importance of the role of the sheikhs at this stage that the country is going through as a result of coalition’s aggression and siege.
