President Al-Mashat praises achievements of telecommunications sector

SANAA, March 10 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Sunday met with Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Mosfer Al-nomair

During the meeting, the officials discussed the work of the Ministry and its institutions and bodies and plans for the current year 2019 to improve the performance and the services of telecommunications and the Internet.

The meeting also touched on the achievements achieved by the ministry during the past year and the difficulties it faces due to the systematic targeting of the infrastructure of the telecommunications sector by the coalition’s aggression, as well as the projects implemented and maintenance of communication networks.

President Al-Mashat stressed the importance of improving telecommunications and Internet services and keeping abreast of the technological developments in this important sector, praising the achievements of the Ministry during the past period despite the difficulties and challenges facing it.

Minister of Communications referred to the progress of work in the ministry and its affiliated institutions and keen to improve the level of performance and services provided to citizens without exception as a guaranteed right for all citizens.

Al-nomair stressed the keenness of the leadership and cadres of the telecommunications sector to redouble efforts and overcome difficulties to promote this sector, develop its services and take advantage of technological developments in the field of communications and the Internet.
