Israel navy arrests four fishermen off Gaza coast

SANAA, March 8 (YPA) – Israeli naval occupation forces on Friday arrested four Palestinian fishermen and seized their boat offshore al-Sudaniya, northwest of Gaza city, WAFA  reported.

According to WAFA ,  the Israeli navy surrounded a Palestinian fishing boat with four fishermen aboard, opening fire towards and chased them.

The fishermen were forced to strip off their clothes and swim in cold water to the naval ships. The fishing boat was seized and escorted to the Israeli seaport of Ashdod

Israeli naval forces frequently open fire on Gazan fishermen on the pretext that they were fishing outside the allowed zone,  WAFA quoted Palestinian sources as saying.
