Yemeni army repels 2 Saudi infiltration attempts in Jizan

JIZAN, March 4 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Sunday repelled two infiltration attempts by Saudi troops and their militants in Jizan region a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, dozens of the militants were killed and wounded in the battle, which took place in front of Qais mountain.

He added that the army forces destroyed a Saudi military vehicle loaded with militants at al-Aredah site, killing and injuring all its crew members.

Meanwhile, the artillery unit of the army shelled Saudi military positions in the eastern part of Nar Mountain and in Jahfan area, causing direct casualties.
