313 kg of hashish seized in Amran

AMRAN, Feb. 13 (YPA) – The security services at Khamer district of Amran province seized 313 kilograms of hashish in two separate operations in this week, a security official told Yemen Press Agency on Wednesday.

The official explained that 300 kg of the seized quantity was found on board a truck at one of the security points on the road to Thifan area, and 13 kg was in possession of two people while they were promoting it in the district on board a motorcycle.

The accused were referred to the anti-narcotics police, the official added.
