SANAA, Feb. 8 (YPA) – Morocco has suspended its participation in the Saudi-led military coalition’s war on Yemen, government officials said.
“Morocco will not participate in military interventions or ministerial meetings in the Saudi-led coalition,” the official was quoted by the Associated Press as saying.
According to the AP, the Moroccan official did not give more details or disclose details of the participation of its troops in the military alliance against Yemen.
“Rabat has summoned its ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on Thursday,” the AP added.
It noticed that “tensions escalated between Rabat and Riyadh amid international concerns over Saudi Arabia’s war and other issues.”
