Yemeni Foreign Ministry mocks coalition’s media campaign on Hodeidah

SANAA, Jan. 27 (YPA) – An official source at the Yemeni Foreign Ministry in Sanaa on Sunday mocked the media campaign led by the aggression media in partnership with what he called “Riyadh hotels group” on the developments in Hodeidah province and outcomes of Sweden consultations.

The source, whose name was not mentioned, explained, in a statement to Yemen News Agency (Saba), that “the aggression media” and “the hotels group” are trying naively and superficially to reduce the Yemeni issue and aggression against Yemen in one of the agreed confidence-building measures in Sweden consultations.”They are brazenly forgetting al the consequences of the aggression and their complicity and crimes against the people and the homeland over nearly four years.”

“The aggression resulted in tens of thousands of martyrs, wounded and disabled, in addition to the millions who have been displaced from their areas and have been living a tragic humanitarian situation since the beginning of the aggression on 26 March 2015,” he said.

The source reiterated Sana’s commitment to the outcomes of the Sweden agreement, as well as the trend of the Supreme Political Council and the Government of Rescue to take all steps and actions leading to a just and sustainable peace that would achieve security and stability throughout the country.

He called on the international community, topped by the five permanent members of the UN Security Council, to seriously consider the situation in Yemen and to stop all abuses affecting Yemeni territory, including the occupation attempts in the southern provinces and the inhuman practices of the occupation forces and armed groups against Yemeni citizens.
