Update: Yemeni army launches offensive on coalition’s sites in Jawf

JAWF, Jan. 27 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Sunday launched an offensive on sites of Saudi-hired militants in Jawf province, northern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the battle, which took place in Khalifain district left dozens of the militants dead and wounded.

Earlier in the day, a number of the Saudi-hired militants were killed and injured in two separate ambushes in al-Maton and Khab Washaef districts.
