Rights Radar calls UN to save Yemeni detainees in UAE secret prisons in Aden

SANAA, Jan. 16 (YPA) – Rights Radar organization on Wednesday called for the United Nations to quickly move to save the Yemeni detainees in the prisons run by the United Arab Emirates (UAE) occupation forces in the Yemeni city of Aden.

Amsterdam-based foundation for human Rights Radar (RR) said in a statement that dozens of the detainees in the secret prison “Beir Ahmed” carried out an open hunger strike in an attempt to draw the world’s attention to their forgotten case.

The organization affirmed that the detainees faced the most severe torture and abuse by the militias backed the UAE in the secret jails, calling on the UN to stop the violations and open an investigation.
