75 injured in earthquake in western Iran

SANAA, Jan. 7 (YPA) – At least 75 people were injured in a 5.9-magnitude earthquake that shook Gilangharb city in Kermanshah province in the west of Iran on Sunday, Iranian Fars news agency reported.

The quack took place in Gilangharb city in Kermanshah province at 17:11 local time.

Assessment teams of Iran’s Red Crescent Society have been dispatched to the site of the earthquake, Kourosh Mahmoudian, Fars news agency quoted the governor of Gilangharb  as saying

Meanwhile, the Iranian emergency centre announced that the number of people injured in the quake had reached 75 and their situation is not serious.
