Defense minister: Armed forces’ Budget of 2019 should include financial means to provide requirements of steadfastness

SANAA, Dec. 29 (YPA) – The Minister of Defense, Major General Mohammad Nasser Al-Atifi, stressed the importance of including the budget of the armed forces for the year 2019 in its items The financial resources necessary to provide the requirements of the steadfastness of the army in the face of the coalition and its militias.
This came during the chairmanship of Al-Atifi on Friday ameeting of the committee charged with preparing the budget.
Al-Atifi pointed to the importance of keeping up with the directions, requirements and requirements of rebuilding financial and administrative work in the armed forces and activating their role in various forces, regions and military circles.
He also stressed the keenness of the military to develop the system of Yemeni military industries in order to achieve the power and high readiness of the defense establishment and the continuity of its national role in leading the defense of Yemen and its capabilities more efficiently than ever before.
