Dozens of disabled people to hold protest rally in Sanaa

SANAA, Dec. 1 (YPA) – A protest rally will be held on Sunday by dozens of disabled people in front of the United Nations’ Office to demand stopping the war and lifting the blockade imposed by Saudi-led coalition on Yemen.
The rally, organized by Disabled Associations, came in conjunction with festivals of World Day of Disabled Persons on December 3.
Ibrahim Jahaf, the chairman of Executive Committee of the International Day of the Disabled, said that the occasion comes and the disabled Yemenis are suffering from the humanitarian deterioration, destruction of homes and killing of thousands have been caused by the coalition’s war against the Yemeni people since 2015.
“A disabled persons’ letter will be delivered to the United Nations Office, which calls on the international community to play its role to alleviate from the suffering and a difficult stage experienced by Yemen,” Jahaf said.
