SANAA, Nov. 10 (YPA) – The Washington Post on Saturday reported a new blackmail of US president Donald trump against Saudi Arabia.
The newspaper confirmed that the US administration has waved to stop refuelling Saudi-led coalition’s fighter jets in its war against Yemen.
The move will stop the US support for the Saudi-led coalition’s war on Yemen, since the beginning of its war four years ago.
The decision is expected to be announced in the coming days, the newspaper quoted familiar sources with the issue as saying.
“We have ongoing discussions with our partners but have nothing to announce at this time,” Robert Manning III, a Pentagon spokesman said.
According to observers, they said that it clear that such a wave is just a new blackmail from the US administration to seize hundreds of billions of Saudi dollars which the US president is doing very well.
The move comes amid escalating criticism of Saudi-led coalition’s war crimes committed in Yemen.
Lawmakers from both parties have demanded that the United States suspend weapons sales to Riyadh and cut off aerial refueling of the Saudi-led coalition’s warplanes.
