SANAA, Oct. 27 (YPA) – The UN humanitarian Coordinator for Yemen Lise Grande said on Friday that dozens of civilians were killed and others wounded in Saudi-led coalition air attacks on Hodeidah province.
In a statement, Lise Grande said that the coalition’s strikes targeted a popular market and three cars in Baital-Faqih and al-Hali districts, killing 21 citizens and injuring 10 others.
“Yemeni civilians still are being targeted three times in October by the coalition, which is caused heavy casualties between the citizens in Hodeidah,” Liz Grande added.
The UN official stressed on the importance of stopping the war and end siege to help Yemen to save 14 million people at risk of famine.
