Tropical Cyclone Luban has not recorded any losses in Socotra Island

SOCOTRA, Oct. 13 (YPA) – Socotra island on Saturday witnessed moderate rain after Tropical Cyclone “Luban” hit parts of the island.

Local sources said that moderate rain fell on large parts of the island accompanied by moderate winds, which lasted more than an hour and did not leave any losses in infrastructure.

Meteorological sources said that the hurricane “Luban” veered towards the provinces of Mahara and Hadramout under the alert of local authorities and security to cope with the hurricane.

The meteorological chamber in Hadramout said the hurricane center is expected to move towards the city of Sehout, affecting the provinces of Hadramout and Mahara, with sea disturbance and severe winds.
