Electricity staff to start Sunday gradual strike in Aden

Aden, Sept. 22 (YPA) – Employees of the electricity corporation in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden on Saturday announced that they will start a gradual strike as of tomorrow, Sunday September 23.

The strike will begin by wearing red tags and stopping work gradually until reaching the total stop, according a statement issued by the employees.

The statement explained that this strike comes to put pressure on the government of the exiled Hadi in order restore looted land belonging to the housing association of the corporation’s staff.

The statement called on the city residents and all civil associations and unions to understand the staff situation and to advocate their issue until restoring the looted land.
