Protest rally held in Amsterdam denouncing European policies on refugees
SANAA, Sep. 15 (YPA) – Hundreds of people demonstrated in the Dutch capital of Amsterdam on Saturday, denouncing EU policies on migrants and refugees.
The protestors took part in the demonstration, which was called for by various civil organizations and was supported by the Dank party, most of whose members were Turks and immigrants.
The protesters gathered in Dam Square, raised banners reading “Humane Migration Policy”, “Open the door to people, not capital”, “Human rights first”, “Open borders” and “No place for racism”.
The protestors chanted slogans such as “It is time of solidarity” and “We demand freedom for refugees” and marched towards the square of Musiemplin.
