TAIZ, Oct. 10 (YPA) – Authorities in areas recently controlled by Sanaa forces in Taiz Governorate have launched wide-ranging efforts to normalize public conditions and resume essential services and commercial activities.
These steps include reopening roads and securing the supply of fuel and food staples through cooperation between local authorities, social figures, tribal leaders, and notables.
According to incoming reports, the measures involve reactivating executive and service offices, securing basic resident needs, and reopening roads and routes that had been closed in recent days to restore movement and facilitate civilian access to vital goods and services.
These developments follow an announcement hours earlier by Ahmed al-Musawa, the Sanaa-appointed governor of Taiz, detailing a package of measures. These include opening roads, providing services and petroleum derivatives, replacing currency, and facilitating financial transactions to address hardships faced by residents in recent days.
The steps have been met with widespread public relief as part of local efforts to restore routine daily life in the affected areas.
