Palestinian citizen martyred after sustained from Israeli fire in Deir al-Balah

GAZA, Oct. 03 (YPA) – The Palestinian citizen Muhammad Talaat Aqel from Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip was martyred on Saturday evening, after succumbing to a gunshot wound to the head sustained from Israeli occupation forces in the Umm Dhahir area of ​​Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

Wafa News Agency quoted a medical source as saying that the martyr had been receiving treatment at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital before passing away from the injury he sustained several days earlier.

In this context, Palestinian medical sources announced that the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, has risen to 74,228 martyrs and 175,188 wounded.
