Four Palestinians, including senior Qassam commander, killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza

GAZA, Sept. 29 (YPA) – Four Palestinians were killed and several others injured early on Tuesday by Israeli occupation fire and airstrikes across various areas of the Gaza Strip, as military forces continued artillery shelling, building demolitions, and gunfire.

Israeli occupation forces launched illumination flares and conducted artillery shelling north of Beit Lahia. Military units also demolished buildings east of Deir al-Balah alongside artillery bombardment, while armored vehicles opened fire on areas south of Khan Younis.

The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, announced the death of commander Izz al-Din Abdul Aziz al-Baik (“Abu Hamza”), a member of the group’s General Military Council and commander of its Northern Brigade.

Earlier in the day, Palestinian resistance sources confirmed that the northern Gaza brigade commander was killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a residential apartment in the Sheikh Radwan/Al-Nasr neighborhood, west of Gaza City.
