Five civilians killed, three injured in Saudi airstrikes on Taiz

TAIZ, Sept. 28 (YPA) – At least five civilians, including three women, were killed and three others injured in Saudi airstrikes targeted multiple locations in Taiz Governorate on Monday, according to local security officials.

A local security source reported that an airstrike struck a residential home in the Al-Ma’afer district, killing three women and an elderly man, and injuring three others.
The source added that Saudi aircraft targeted the Al-Rawdh School in the Al-Rabi’i area of the At-Ta’iziyah district for the third time, causing the complete destruction of the remaining structure.

These strikes follow an attack less than 24 hours earlier targeting commercial shops in the central market of Taiz at the Mawiyah junction in At-Ta’iziyah district. According to preliminary figures, that strike left seven citizens dead and 40 others injured, including five children.
