Saudi Arabia launches 52 air and missile strikes on five Yemeni provinces

SANAA, Sept. 23 (YPA) – Brigadier General Yahya Sarie, spokesperson for the Sanaa-aligned armed forces, said Saudi forces carried out 52 air and missile attacks over the past 24 hours, using F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets for the airstrikes.

“During the past 24 hours, Saudi warplanes launched 52 airstrikes and missiles using F-15 and Typhoon aircraft that took off from the Khamis Mushait and Taif bases, while the missile aggression was launched from Jizan, targeting the provinces of Hodeida, Taiz, Bayda, Marib, and Saada,” Brigadier General Yahya Sarie wrote on X.

The attacks left martyrs and wounded, including women and children, and caused destruction to civilian facilities including telecommunications networks, schools, bridges, roads, and others, he said.

He added that the total number of airstrikes and missile attacks launched by the Saudi-led coalition since the recent escalation began has reached 988.
