GAZA, Sept. 20 (YPA) – The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) announced, on Sunday, the continuation of debris removal and road opening in Gaza to enable students and teachers to have safe access as the school year begins.
In a post on X, it explained that with support from Norway, Korea, and Japan, debris was removed from 20 schools, 4 universities, and 19 learning points, and 50 km of roads leading to educational facilities were cleared.
It emphasized that debris removal contributes to reopening schools and universities and creating conditions for early recovery, given the continued damage to infrastructure and its obstruction of access to education.
