GAZA, Sept. 19 (YPA) – A Palestinian woman was injured on Saturday in the Fash Farsh area of al-Mawasi, west of Rafah in southern Gaza, as Israeli occupation forces continued to violate the ceasefire and carry out artillery and airstrikes across the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian sources reported the Al-Shakoush area, southwest of Khan Younis, came under heavy Israeli tank fire, while drones dropped bombs and reconnaissance aircraft carried out strikes near the “Yellow Line.” Israeli artillery also shelled the area.
The sources added that the occupation forces fired illumination flares over the southern part of the city.
In al-Mawasi, Rafah, Israeli artillery shelling targeted the area, while Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire toward tents housing displaced Palestinians.
The Al-Shakoush area, northwest of Rafah, also came under heavy fire from Israeli tanks.
In Gaza City, Israeli artillery shelling and heavy tank fire targeted the eastern part of the Tuffah neighborhood, east of the city. Israeli warships also fired shells into the waters off the city.
In northern Gaza, the Israeli occupation army carried out demolitions of buildings.
Since the ceasefire took effect on October 11, 2025, more than 1,350 Palestinians have been killed and thousands injured. The Israeli occupation army has also destroyed hundreds of buildings and damaged critical infrastructure, leaving Gaza uninhabitable.
