Saudi-backed militants in Dhalea continue attacks on civilians

DHALEA, Aug. 23 (YPA) – The Saudi-backed militants in Yemen’s Dhalea province have continued attacks on civilians and their property using artillery shells.

A security source said Sunday that a civilian’s home in Qatabah district was damaged by a shell fired by Saudi-backed militants.

The incident came 24 hours after a civilian died from injuries sustained when a mortar shell struck the main road between the areas of Damt and Moris of the province.

Earlier in the day, a child was injured in a drone strike in Al-Shameriya village in Al-Hasha district.

Residents condemned the attacks, describing them as part of continued assaults targeting civilians and civilian property.
