JIZAN, Aug. 21 (YPA) – Newly released satellite imagery from specialized imaging firm Soar Atlas on Friday revealed extensive additional damage to Saudi Arabia’s Jizan oil refinery, resulting from the latest attack launched by Sanaa-based forces.
The images show a large oil storage tank at the Jizan refinery being hit and catching fire as a result of the latest operation carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces on August 18.
Last Tuesday, Sanaa-based forces announced that they had targeted the Saudi Aramco refinery in Jizan with several drones, saying the attack was carried out in response to violations of Yemeni airspace over Saada and Hajjah governorates.
Earlier on Tuesday, satellite imagery released by Soar Atlas revealed damage caused by the Sanaa-based forces’ attack on the Saudi Jizan refinery.
