Saudi-backed forces attack residential areas in Taiz, wounding woman and killing livestock

TAIZ, Aug. 21 (YPA) – Saudi-backed forces continued their attacks on populated areas in Taiz province on Friday, resulting in casualties and severe damage to civilian property.

According to local sources, a woman was wounded and a number of livestock were killed in a drone strike by Saudi-backed forces targeting civilian homes in the Al-Khamsin area of Al-Ta’iziyah district.

Earlier in the day, Saudi-backed forces’ artillery shelling struck the Muhais area in Khadir district, causing damage to civilian property .
