SANAA, Aug. 17 (YPA) – Member of the Ansarullah Political Bureau, Mohammed Al-Farah, said the Saudi regime is caught in a pattern of behavioral and political contradictions that its financial resources have failed to resolve or overcome.
In a post on X, Al-Farah said Riyadh is attempting to pursue conflicting options, seeking to wage war while ensuring the safety of its facilities, and attempting to play the roles of mediator and guardian simultaneously.
He also accused it of trying to balance pleasing the US administration and partnering with the Israeli entity on one hand, while claiming leadership of the Muslim world on the other.
Al-Farah said the Saudi regime has been left with bitter choices in Yemen: either remain a mediator and watch its forces, which it has mobilized, come under attack in an attempt to demonstrate alleged neutrality, or engage in direct confrontation, which would expose its failure and defeat.
He concluded by dismissing the effectiveness of alliances, formal condemnations and attempts to buy time, saying Riyadh has no option but to end its war and blockade, end its occupation, repair what it has destroyed and completely withdraw from Yemen.
