Israeli airstrikes, artillery shelling target several areas in southern Lebanon

LEBANON, Aug. 16 (YPA) – Israeli occupation warplanes launched airstrikes on Sunday on the outskirts of Majdal Zoun and the vicinity of Mansouri in southern Lebanon, coinciding with artillery shelling that targeted the town of Mansouri in the Tyre district.

The occupation aircraft targeted with raids the area between Ali al-Taher and al-Dabsha in Nabatieh, and the outskirts of the town of Kafr Rumman towards the al-Dabsha heights.

Lebanese sources reported that the Israeli occupation used internationally prohibited phosphorus shells in artillery shelling on the Ali al-Taher area in the south of the country.
